Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Preparations depend on the type of ultrasound scan you have. Don't eat, avoid caffeinated foods and drinks for 6-8 hours before your scan. A full bladder is best for pelvic examinations, and unlimited non-carbonated water can be consumed before the examination. No special preparation is required for ultrasound examinations of other regions.

At the end of the examination, you will receive a printed copy of the written report and it will be uploaded electronically to EESZT.

Ultrasound scans are painless testing methods that does not use ionizing radiation for imaging, so it can be repeated indefinitely.

We offer fee-for-service care, so a referral is not required, but if you already have a medical referral, please bring it with you to make it easier for the examining doctor. Previous test results and relevant medical documentation should also be brought with you.

We do not examine infants and children. We are a specialist ultrasound clinic for adults, and we only perform examinations from the age of 12. Please note this when booking your appointment!
